ARENA2036 will host the Stuttgart Conference on Automotive Production in 2024 in collaboration with the Institute for Control Engineering of Machine Tools and Manufacturing Units (ISW) at the University of Stuttgart.

The SCAP forum invites scientists and researchers to present and discuss their work on advanced technologies in robotics, automation, logistics, and manufacturing innovations for future automotive production.

This year’s conference will focus on:

Advances in Automotive Production – Digital Product Development and Manufacturing.

All submissions must be made through Easy Chair.

Also consider the following requirements for submission:

  • Paper submission of accepted abstracts only.
  • All submissions will be made via EasyChair.
  • Please consider that only papers presented at the conference will be published.

Options for Participation

Scientific contribution

Short papers should be between 4 and 7 pages, while full papers should be between 8 and 15 pages. Scientific papers will undergo peer review by a scientific committee and will be published shortly after the conference by Springer Nature as part of the ARENA2036 series.

Presentation formats

Short papers, ranging from 2 to 4 pages, and concept papers such as project ideas and proposals will undergo review by the conference committee. Following the conference, they will be published on the ARENA2036 homepage.

    architectures
  • Catena-X / Tractus-X – digitalization of the automotive value chain
  • Manufacturing-X – digitalization of supply chains in the industry

Venue

The on-site event will take place at the ARENA2036 Research Campus, Pfaffenwaldring 19, 70569 Stuttgart, which is situated on the University of Stuttgart Campus Vaihingen. It is approximately 20 minutes away from both Stuttgart Airport and the train station.

Presentation Formats

Accepted submissions must be presented at SCAP2024. The length of the presentation depends on your contributions:

  • Full papers presentation: 15 min (presentation) + 5 min (Q&A)
  • Short papers presentation: 13 min (presentation) + 2 min (Q&A)
  • Poster: Posters are to be presented and discussed in a special session.
